Toy Tanks

2D side-scroller, playing as a tank navigating various levels, goal is to shoot all enemies before advancing.

When learning at university, I wanted my games to stand out above the rest, to do this all most of my projects ended up using a different approach or different genre to the majority. While majority of students created a 2D platformer, I created a top down side-scroller with shooting mechanics and a responsive AI. I also had a lot of fun playing with the theme, basing every decision off of toys (I even recorded all the sounds effects with my voice for a personal touch).
